While it is somewhat subjective, I can confidently say that the vast majority of professors, with the exception of a relatively small number, are not up to par with the standards expected from a Tier 1 institution. This is a common sentiment among students at MANIT.

If you are committed to learning, there are alternative resources like NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning) that can enhance your education. However, the quality of instruction may not be a deal-breaker if you are dedicated to your studies and utilize additional resources.

City and Campus Life

MANIT is centrally located in Bhopal, which can be a double-edged sword. On one hand, the city offers a vibrant and engaging environment that many students come to love. On the other hand, it provides a considerable amount of free time, with minimal restrictions on students, especially for boys. The majority of students tend to waste their free time on unproductive activities, including alcohol, drugs, and leisure pursuits.
