Monks, or what appears to be monks, were part of a broader tradition of Buddhism that believed in the importance of material pleasures. However, their perspective was that these pleasures should not distract from the greater harmony and interconnectedness of the universe. They believed that upon death, one would gain a form of higher consciousness and awareness of everything.

Their philosophical arguments are rooted in the scientific explanation of the universe. They assert that true understanding requires a comprehensive scientific examination of the light universe. This perspective contrasts sharply with the entrenched belief systems of modern scientists and others who may be resistant to change and new ideas.
