The Utmost Request: What’s the Only Thing You Ask of God?

Throughout the peaks and valleys of our lives, we often find ourselves in situations where we turn to a higher power for guidance and comfort. The concept of divine intervention and the pursuit of eternal salvation is a deeply personal journey for many. So, what is the single most significant request one might make to God? Let's explore some profound examples and reflections.

Divine Intervention: A Personal Licentiate

I, too, have made a consistent request to God, often during periods of despair. It is my earnest plea for my father, who is currently in heaven, to be reunited with me. With the complexity of my life's challenges, his presence would be a sanctuary. This request stems not just from a desire for his physical presence, but for his wisdom and guidance, which only he can provide.

This longing for divine assistance was first expressed to God in 2017. Immediately, a particle from the air outside was infused into my heart, a silent assurance of His presence and protection. My ultimate request, transcending all others, is to ensure that my soul does not enter Hell. This is more than a simple request; it is an implicit agreement between us, communicated psychically.

Reflections on God’s Will

Upon waking each morning, I thank God for His loving and merciful kindness, a renewed sense of His presence. The strength needed to fulfill His Will is then my foremost request. This is a way to align my life with His divine plan, embracing the purpose of life and finding meaning in each day.

Joan of Arc: A Saint’s Solest Intention

Reflecting on the life of Saint Joan of Arc, we see a remarkable example of a person who placed her whole soul in God's hands. Joan, the one true holy and undefiled virgin Daughter of God, sought only one ultimate request from God: the salvation of her soul. In her mind, the thought of Hell was unbearable, and she feared it more than the horrors she faced on Earth.

Joan’s decision to face the flames at the stake was based on her profound belief in the eternal salvation of her soul. She understood that her faith would be tested to the very end. "Those who remain faithful to the very end will be saved," a quote from Jesus Christ, echoed in her heart, guided her final decision. She feared the eternal damnation more than the earthly conflicts, a testament to her unwavering faith.

Personal Beginnings: Simple yet Profound

The first question I ever directed to God was simple yet profound. At the age of seven, I asked, "Please show me what all this is for." Life, with its complexities, presented itself in a way that the answer was both clear and confusing. While I am content with the responses I have received thus far, I continue to seek greater understanding and meaning.

Alongside this, I have had several more specific requests. My desire to make my name great amongst the people of the Earth, the blessing of Israel, and the ability to fulfill whatever God commands me to do are all ongoing aspirations. Furthermore, there is a twinge of hope for a job in heaven, doing what God wants me to do.

Key Requests: Soul Salvation, Divine Plans, and Eternal Fulfillment

Through the stories of both my personal struggle and the historical account of Saint Joan of Arc, we see the quest for spiritual fulfillment and eternal salvation. Our ultimate desires are profoundly rooted in the pursuit of God's Will and the assurance of our salvation. Other requests, like curing one’s OCD or sending a hacker to jail, are specific outcomes of difficult situations we wish to resolve.

Whether through simple questions or complex requests, the essence of our prayers and wishes remains the same: a deep longing for understanding, guidance, and eternal peace.
