A Personal Favourite - Jellybean (Android 4.1)

The Pixel 6 runs the latest Android 14, with ongoing monthly security patches. This continuous support ensures that the device remains secure and user-friendly.

Many of the former HTC employees who created Android now work for Google, which contributes to the seamless integration and updates. This consistent support ensures that these devices remain relevant and user-friendly.

Staying updated with the latest Android versions is crucial for both security and app compatibility. Most modern apps are designed to work best with Android 8 and above. Falling too far behind can lead to security vulnerabilities and a degraded app experience.
