Even if individuals survive the journey, they may face challenges in adapting to the Martian environment.

Research indicates that low gravity can have detrimental effects on human health, particularly affecting bone density and muscle mass. On Earth, astronauts typically require twice as long to recover from the effects of zero gravity. With no data on the effects of low gravity, it is reasonable to assume that it could significantly shorten human lifespan. Moreover, the development of children in a low-gravity environment is likely to be compromised, posing additional concerns for long-term human settlements.

Cost and Feasibility of Mars Settlement

The cost of establishing human settlements on Mars is another major challenge. Factors such as the need for oxygen supply, lack of fertile soil, high radiation levels, and the absence of infrastructure contribute to the high cost.
