Is the Nexus 6 Screen Size Too Big to Manage?

As someone who uses a phone with a 5.7-inch screen size every day, I can say it takes some getting used to, but it isn’t unbearable in any way. I prefer a bigger size over a small phone in my opinion.

Comfort and Hand Size

I currently have a Nexus 6p, which is great. The screen size is a little bit smaller than the Nexus 6 but comparable. I do have really big hands. The only person I have met with bigger hands is my father. I do not think my phone is too big. A lot of people always ask me how I can handle a smartphone with such a big screen. You get used to it. Although I wouldn't recommend it if you have very small hands.

Depends on your hand size and what feels comfortable to you. For me, I am barely able to reach across the display when using Swipe to type. Also, since it is so big, it can be hard to keep a grip on it. For me, it is right on the edge of my comfort level, but it could be perfect for another person.

No, it’s not too big. I had an N95 back in the day, then moved to an iPhone. That was the biggest positive change in mobile experience I have had even after moving to Android later. After a couple of Android devices, I moved to Nexus 6, and I have to say it’s the same sort of feeling again... A bit like moving from Nokia to Apple in 2006. The big screen is a fantastic real estate. You organize your screen better, you see more in any app, etc. But not only that... This phone is very fast!

I am going to sell my old phone and my Nexus 7 now because this one can do the job for both. Important to say I have a big hand, which helps. The other thing I was curious before buying was the pocket size implications... No problem so far. Fits all my pockets.

In my case, the screen size is manageable but not the thickness. After all, it is a phablet, so you cannot expect it to perform like an iPhone 5s, etc. 6 inches is perfect if you like to grab your phone as it gives you some grip along with the security that you would not drop the phone easily.

Yes, it is big like a phablet. It seems like too big to handle otherwise, it is nice in design and also good in the camera. If you love a bigger screen, it is a nice phone.
