According to my experience, this period is often around 35 days from the time a project ends. During this time, business conditions play a crucial role in determining job availability. In some cases, projects may be abundant, allowing employees to choose the most suitable role. However, in other situations, the demand for bench (unassigned) employees can be high, making it difficult to find a billable role.

This approach can provide you with more stability and a safer career path.
