Evolution is indeed an ongoing process in every living species, including humans. In animal species, the gametes (sperm and eggs) produced by an organism carry minor genetic differences, called mutations, compared to the organism itself. These mutations are the result of changes in the genetic code during the production of gametes.

When organisms reproduce, the mutations from their respective gametes combine to form the final DNA of the offspring. Every human individual is born with over a hundred mutations in their DNA compared to their parents. Some of these mutations are harmful and lead to fewer offspring or none at all, some are harmless and go unnoticed, and some are beneficial, increasing the survivability and reproductive success of the organism. When discussing the evolution of the cosmos, terms like time, space, and matter are often referred to as a continuum, meaning they must exist together or not exist at all. The First Law of Thermodynamics states that energy cannot be created or destroyed, which raises questions about the origin of the energy driving cosmic evolution. According to this law, cosmic evolution and every aspect of evolution, as we traditionally understand it, are scientifically impossible.

The First Law of Thermodynamics, or the law of conservation of energy, posits that energy cannot be created or destroyed. This means the universe cannot create energy from nothing, throwing into question the idea of cosmic evolution, where the universe is said to have expanded from a singularity or an extremely hot and dense state.

The Second Law of Thermodynamics, which states that entropy (disorder) always increases over time, presents another challenge to the notion of biological evolution. If disorder increases, then describing evolution as a process leading to greater order defies the law. Science has long established that life only comes from pre-existing life. This means the idea of life spontaneously arising from a primordial soup is scientifically impossible. Mutations, while they can cause variations, do not add new information to the genome; they merely shuffle or remove existing genetic information. This further invalidates the concept of macro-evolution, where complex life forms arise from simpler ones.

Conclusion: The Role of Intelligence in the Universe

Considering the laws of nature and the universe, time, space, and matter all share a common source – energy. The physical laws of nature must have an intelligent cause rather than an uncaused explosion or expansion. Without an intelligent mind, there could be no information, such as the laws of science and physics, which are effects, not causes.

Based on the established laws of science and physics, there can be no scientific evolution of the cosmos. The universe did not create itself, and the concept of cosmic evolution is unscientific. The only logical explanations for the existence of energy and the universe are either that it created itself (which is impossible according to the laws of thermodynamics) or that it was created by a first cause, often attributed to God.

While the continuous nature of human evolution through genetic mutations and natural selection is undisputed, the idea of cosmic evolution as it is often described is thoroughly challenged by the laws of science and thermodynamics. Evolutionists often fabricate theories to mitigate the truth, but the scientific laws remain consistent and unyielding.
