The Struggles with BSNL Services and Proper Redressal Channels

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with BSNL’s customer service, specifically regarding the deactivation of my service without any prior notice or reason. My phone number was also deactivated without any intimation, even though I had provided it to various banking services and business lines.

I have lodged a complaint at the Gulbarga and Afzalpur BSNL offices, but have not received any response. I kindly request your assistance in activating my number as soon as possible. Below are my personal details:

Personal Details

Name: Kamalakar Address: Near Laxmi Temple, Saganoor, Tq. Afzalpur, Dist: Gulbarga Contact: 9341155221

I am skeptical about BSNL’s current financial condition and the overall quality of its services. The majority of the employees at BSNL seem to treat their positions merely as a means to collect a salary and enjoy perks, rather than providing excellent service to customers.

Personal Experience with BSNL

Today, when I inquired about a balance deduction on my phone number, the service was exceptionally poor. The officer, Miss Krishna, lacked basic manners and refused to be polite. Even when I requested that she be more courteous, she did not respond. The manager, Miss Richa, did try to be more professional, but my requests for details were met with silence.

I currently reside in Kerala and have a fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) landline that experiences frequent muting issues during outgoing calls. The officials have not been able to identify the cause of these problems, which is extremely frustrating.

Efforts to Resolve Issues

Despite BSNL having a robust complaint redressal system, I have faced challenges in getting my issues resolved. Unlike other operators, BSNL has complaint redressal offices at all levels – Subdivisional Engineer (TEL), Deputy General Manager (DGM), and General Manager (GM) at the district level, Public Grievance Cell at the district headquarters, Chief General Manager (CGM) at the state level, and the Chief Managing Director (CMD) at the national level.

The Public Grievance Cell provides an effective platform for resolving complaints. Currently, complaints are monitored at all levels, including social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook. These platforms can be used to lodge complaints and track the progress of your issues.

Concerns with BSNL's Services

Even though I have not activated BSNL’s confession service, in the last few months I have been charged 3 rupees every third time I deactivate the service. This seems to be fraudulent behavior, as the charge should only apply once per deactivation.

**Key Points:**1. **Lodge Complaints Effectively:** Utilize the Public Grievance Cells at various levels to lodge complaints.2. **Monitor Progress:** Use social media platforms and other online channels to monitor the progress of your complaints.3. **Stay Informed:** Keep an eye on BSNL’s policy updates and customer service is my sincere hope that BSNL takes these issues seriously and takes action to improve its customer service and ensure that customers like myself receive prompt and satisfactory responses to our concerns.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Yours sincerely,

Kamalakar
