Examples: Swing of a pendulum, a spring, etc. Repetitive/Non-Periodic Motion: This type of motion occurs without a regular interval of time.
Examples: Heartbeat, striking a nail with a hammer Multiple Motion: This is when an object exhibits two or more motions simultaneously.
Examples: Earth's motion (both translation and rotation), movement of a ceiling fan (both circular and rotational) Random Motion: This type of motion has no definite path or regularity.
Examples: Flying insects, Brownian motion of particles

Classification of Motion

Based on the path and the nature of the object's movement, motions can be classified into three primary types:
