The hostel environment is conducive to both academic pursuits and extracurricular activities. Students often engage in group studies, discussions, and other community-building activities.

MICA takes the safety and security of its students very seriously. Hostels are equipped with security measures such as CCTV surveillance and restricted access, ensuring a safe living space for everyone.
The hostels are conveniently located on or near the campus, making it easy for students to attend classes and participate in campus events.
First Year Hostel Experiences
Life in the first year of the MICA hostel is nothing short of a home away from home. New students are assigned twin-sharing bedrooms, complete with a bed, cupboard, table, and chair. Each floor has 4 common washrooms, providing easy access to amenities. You can decorate your rooms according to your tastes, allowing your creativity to flow.
Supportive Staff
The supportive staff at MICA make it easier for students to settle in. The hostels foster a strong sense of community, where you never feel alone. It's like a giant family, where friends are always available to help and support you. Whether you need a bite to eat or just someone to talk to, there is always someone there to lend a helping hand.
Perspectives on the PDGM-C Course Hostels
For first-year PDGM-C course students, you will be staying in one of three hostels: Palaash, Parijat, or Silver Oak. All three hostels are similar in infrastructure but have unique cultures. You will share your room with another student, each having a bed, chair, table, and some storage space. A cupboard is also provided for your belongings.
Hostels are two-storied, with 14-15 rooms on each floor. Each floor has 3 common bathrooms, equipped with 4 shower stalls and 3 toilets. Students often pool money to buy washing machines for shared use on their floor. There is one water cooler in each hostel, ensuring access to drinking water.
As you progress to the second year, there are additional options available. You can apply to stay in hostels with single rooms or move to the newest hostel building, which has rooms with attached bathrooms.
Customizing Your Space
MICA offers you the opportunity to customize your room, making it your own. Many students have decorating their rooms to reflect their personal style. For instance, one student might add plants and artwork to create a cozy atmosphere, while another might opt for a sleek, minimalist setup.
MICA has been transformative in providing exceptional living accommodations for its students, turning dorm life into a cherished experience.
